Bulgarian Armenians Build First New Church in 100 -
In Bourgas Bulgaria last month the community opened its new Holy Trinity Church with an inauguration ceremony on May 15 at the local Armenian cemetery led by Archibishop Dirair Mardikian Primate of Bulgaria. This is the first Armenian chapel built in Bulgaria in the last 100 years. The ceremony was attended by deputy mayors of the city members of the Bulgarian Orthodox church Catholic and evangelic pastors and the president of the Eparchial Council of the Armenian Apostolic and Orthodox Church in Bulgaria.
