First International Medical Congress of Armenia

Armenian International Medical Congress in Yerevan The First International Medical Congress to be held in Armenia will take place in Yerevan from 1-3 July. This is the first of half a dozen international Armenia-Diaspora connected events which will take place in Armenia this summer and early fall. The Medical Congress will hold sessions at the Hotel Armenia. The opening session will be addressed by The President of The Republic of Armenia H.E. Robert Kocharyan. The Ministers of Health of the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh will participate at the Congress. The second day s session will include a presentation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vartan Oskanian. Topics under discussion during the Congress will include various medical issues from public health to health care organization and management clinical medicine medical insurance nursing dentistry and pharmaceutics. In addition to health matters ways of cooperating between Armenian and Diasporan professionals will be examined through plenary sessions workshops discussions and presentations. "The Congress is an excellent opportunity to meet people of different specialties and professions an outstanding occasion to get acquainted with the superb nature of Armenia and enjoy the kindest hospitality of its people " say the organizers.
