YEREVAN — Armen Grigoryan, secretary of Armenia’s Security Council, received a delegation from the European Union’s new Partnership Mission in Armenia, headed by Stefano Tomat, the European External Action Service’s Civilian Operations Commander and Managing Director.

Grigoryan welcomed the establishment and deployment of the mission in Armenia, emphasizing the importance of the EU’s multifaceted support for the country in recent years, as well as its capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening Armenia’s resilience.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed matters related to future cooperation.

Grigoryan expressed confidence that close cooperation between the mission and Armenian government agencies would contribute to the full and effective implementation of the objectives outlined in the mission’s mandate.
