A banner commemorating Armenian Genocide has been installed in San Francisco Bay Area for the third year.

The banner saying “Armenian Genocide 1915” and containing a link to GenocideEducation.org has been hanging above the tunnel, reports nbcbayarea.com

The local Armenian community members contributed to pay for the banner.

“It’s great for people to see the banner for the whole month of April on the bridge because it brings awareness and will spark interest and that’s what we want,” says Armenian American Kim Bardakian.
